Stollery Lemon Angels

Hello, my name is Gabriela aka Gabby. This is my first time participating the lemonade stand along with my cousins, Luna and Leyla, including my bestie, Hana.

I was also a Stollery kid. When I was 2 and a half years old, I got sick with a high fever and had a seizure. My parents and my brother were very scared that they would lose me. They kept praying for me to stay alive. I was rushed to the Stollery Children’s Hospital. On the way to the hospital, I stopped breathing. The kind paramedics were able to get me back. I went through many tests and scans. The tests and scans all.came back normal. It turned out, I had an atypical seizure. Since then, I had not experience anymore seizure. During my stay there, the doctors and nurses were very kind.

Participating in this lemonade stand is one of the ways of my giving back to the community and supporting kids Stollery.
