Our Annual Lemonade Stand for the Stollery Children’s Hospital

Since 2019, every August, our family has set up a lemonade stand — rain or shine — partnering with Simply Supper’s Lemonade Stand Day in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital. What started as a simple idea to sell lemonade has grown into a family tradition that teaches our kids the joy and importance of giving back.

Over the years, we’ve been proud to see Kaelyn, Carter, and their friends take on more and more responsibility. These days, Kaelyn and her good friend Sophie are the friendly faces greeting customers, pouring lemonade, and sharing smiles, while Carter works hard behind the scenes with the prep, setup, and takedown that make it all possible.

This cause is close to our hearts. The kids have also participated in other activities supporting the Stollery, but the lemonade stand is something they look forward to every summer. It’s their way of making a difference — one cup at a time — and showing that even small hands can do big things when it comes to helping others.

We’re so grateful to our community for supporting this tradition year after year. Your generosity not only raises funds for an incredible hospital but also inspires the next generation to lead with kindness and compassion.
