A BIRTHDAY WITH A PURPOSE

Alayna (Aug 24th), Liana “Yana” (Aug 25th), Ninio “Pio” (Aug 29th) and James “JB” (Sept 2nd) are celebrating their birthdays with a celebration rooted in gratitude, compassion and empathy. Having been patients at the Stollery themselves, they understand firsthand the care, support, and hope that the hospital provides to children and their families. Inspired by their own experiences, they wanted to find a meaningful way to give back.

Instead of asking for traditional birthday gifts, these kids have partnered with their “Palabok” friends and family to turn their birthday celebration into a Charity Lemonade Stand.

Together, they hope to spread kindness, create smiles, and make a difference in the lives of children who need it most. Every cup of lemonade shared helps support a greater cause, with all proceeds going directly to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
