Why We Stand for the Kids

For us, the Lemonade Stand is about much more than lemonade. It’s about giving back, bringing our community together, and being there for families when they need support the most.

For Pia Liberty, this cause hits especially close to home. As a cancer survivor, she understands how frightening and difficult it can be to face one of life’s toughest battles — especially during the moments when you’re facing it alone.

Over the years, we have also watched friends, colleagues and loved ones fight their own battles with cancer. Some have overcome it, some are still fighting, and some will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Those experiences are a big part of why we choose to give back.

No child or family should have to go through an incredibly difficult time feeling that no one is there to help. Sometimes we may not be able to change what someone is going through, but we can show up. We can offer support. We can rally our community. And together, even something as simple as a glass of lemonade can make a difference.

That’s why Liberty Realty & Liberty Autoworx are proud to host our 2nd Annual Lemonade Stand in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Our Junior Squeezers/Ambassadors Liam & Kelsey, will be back serving lemonade and homemade treats while helping us raise funds for the kids and families who need them. This time, we will be joined by Travis.

100% of the proceeds from our stand will go to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.

This is our little way of turning our own experiences into something positive — and reminding someone going through a difficult time that there are people who care, and they don’t have to face it alone.
