Lemonade Joy

Our precious Madelyn Joy spent so much of her short life at the Stollery Hospital. Diagnosed at 6 weeks old with biliary atresia (a congenital liver disease), she underwent various procedures to restore liver function. The hope was that those procedures would allow Madelyn to grow until she could receive a liver transplant. At 9 months old, her little body could not hold on any longer and she passed away February 25th, 2023.

Her sisters and cousins honour our sweet Madelyn Joy by participating in the Lemonade Stand Day every year. This is our third year participating as we raise funds for other families using the stollery. We can think of no better way to honour her memory!
