Our Lemon‑AID Stand: 

The annual Lemonade Stand Day holds a special place in our family’s heart. The Stollery Children’s Hospital has been there for us through some of our hardest moments, offering not just medical care but genuine compassion that lifted us when we needed it most.

Our journey included moments that were scary, exhausting, and emotional — but the Stollery made sure we never felt alone. They helped us create a bead chain to mark each step of our story, gave us a scent cloth to stay connected when distance was unavoidable, and even made sure we had a warm meal when we were spending long hours at the bedside. These small acts of kindness made a world of difference.

We know our story is just one of many. Families across the city have walked their own paths through the Stollery’s doors, and Lemonade Stand Day has become a beautiful way for all of us to come together, share hope, and give back. Seeing stands across Edmonton reminds us that this community cares deeply — and that no family faces their journey alone.

This year, we’re proud to be here providing Lemon‑AID — a little sweetness, a lot of heart, and support for the hospital that supported us.
