Glenwood Lemon Squeezers

The Glenwood Lemon Squeezers are back for Year 4! 

On Sunday, August 30, a group of young entrepreneurs from Glenwood Crescent will once again be setting up their annual lemonade stand as part of Simply Supper’s Lemonade Stand Day, raising funds for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.

This year, we’re raising money to help purchase NICView cameras for neonatal intensive care units across northern Alberta. These secure cameras allow families to see their newborn babies anytime, from anywhere—a priceless connection during what can be one of the most difficult times in a family’s life. When parents can’t be at their baby’s bedside, these cameras provide comfort, reassurance, and precious moments that might otherwise be missed.

This is our 4th year hosting the stand, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our family, friends, neighbours, and community, we’ve raised an amazing $5,061.56 over the past three years. Every year we’re humbled by the support we receive, and we’re hoping for beautiful weather and another fantastic day of making memories while making a difference.

Stop by, say hello, and enjoy a refreshing cup of lemonade, a hot dog fresh off the grill, homemade sourdough bread, and plenty of delicious baked treats.
