Meet the team
Hi Everyone !
We are so excited to be back hosting our 6th lemonade stand in support of the Stollery Children’s Foundation. Over the past 5 years we have hosted our lemonade stands in our front yard & it has always turned into a big neighborhood party with friends, family & so many people stopping in to sip lemonade, chat, play, hangout & donate to my favorite charity.
This year will be different as we have to switch over to an ONLINE lemonade stand. It makes us sad that we won’t be with everyone in person pouring lemonade and I especially will miss hanging out with all my friends but sometimes things don’t always work out. It kind of is like the old saying, when you have lemons, make lemonade. So even though we are having a tough year as a family with some medical issues we will take those lemons and still try to squeeze out some goodness and hopefully raise a small bit of money with this online stand.
I am so happy to have been able to donate over $7400 in the past 5 years to the hospital that helped me as an infant and many times throughout my childhood. It means so much to me that you’ve been able to help me do that. I may be young but I know you work hard for your money and I am grateful when you’ve shared it with us for this incredible charity. This year, we did put our goal up a bit high but I’m just kinda hoping I can reach the $8000 milestone for donations ! A round number sounded really cool but I’ll be happy with reaching $100 as that is my favorite type of bill, lol.
So thanks for being on this journey with me & my parents. We really hope we will be back next year in person in our front yard but until then, we will SQUEEZE as much lemony goodness out of this day as possible !!
Lots of lemon love,
